Payatas Orione Foundation, Inc. (PAOFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization, duly registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Social Welfare and Development. Our mandate is to provide social welfare and development programs and services to the poor, vulnerable and disadvantage persons/families relative to their health/medical, nutritional and educational needs.
5th October 1991
Fr Luigi Piccoli, Fr Oreste Ferrari, Mr Francesco Piras, Miss Fransesca Monaiuti and Fr Angelo Mugnai arrived in the Philippines and took up residency in Filinvest II subdivision. After a week, Fr. Luigi went back to Italy for a month to attend the funeral of his brother.
January 12th 1992
On the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, the Santo Niño chapel became Mother of Divine Providence Parish in the presence of Jaime Cardinal Sin (Manila) and the General Councillor of the Sons of Divine Providence, Fr. Giovanni Bianchin.
The religious community was finally established in Payatas on the 12th of July1992.
July 23rd 1993
Saw the inauguration of the Payatas Orphanage called “Bahay-Ampunan”. Jaime Cardinal Sin (Manila) and the General Secretary of the Sons of Divine Providence, Fr. Julio Cuesta were present. This service was discontinued in 1997
May 1996
The first four aspirants joined the Congregation, living in a house near to the community house of Payatas. Fr Orlando was appointed to oversee their formation in the religious life.
18th March 2000
saw the inauguration of the Cottolengo, in the presence of the Apostolic Nuncio, the Argentinean Ambassador, and former Vice-President of the Philippines, Gloria-Macapagal Arroyo.
1st May 2000
The first novitiate was established with Fr. Stephen Beale being made novice master with 4 novices under his charge. Today there are 2 Filipino priests, 1 deacon, 13 brothers with temporary vows, 6 novices, 10 postulants, 14 aspirants…
March 12th 2007
The Payatas Orione Foundation, Inc. was established to channel the social works of our Congregation in Payatas.

A new religious community was established involving itself in the apostolate in Dalahican, Lucena

The beginning of the Religious Community Mother of the Church (3rd community in the Philippines). Fr. Martin Mroz, Fr. Joseph Van Cu, and Fr. Stefan Bulai arrived at the former convent Agnus Dei, in Barangay Alupaye, Pagbilao.
