How your donation is used

The objectives of the charity, towards which your donation can go,  include:

  1. To support the life of the members of The Sons of Divine Providence as an integral aspect of our activities
  2. To provide housing, care and support to individuals who are elderly, disabled, or who need support in some other way through our housing service and our registered care homes.
  3. To provide meaningful leisure, education, occupational support and day care where we can.
  4. To provide these in keeping with the current standards expected by regulation, health and safety, safeguarding and good practice, always promoting independence, choice and a sense of community.
  5. To provide these service in a manner that maintains the economic viability of the organisation.
  6. To support the activities of The Sons of Divine Providence in other countries around the world where the needs are often even greater, particularly in India, the Philippines and Kenya.
  7. To promote the personal development of the members, trustees, our employees and volunteers to help ensure the quality of our services.
  8. To be ever vigilant of new needs and challenges and to be adaptable to change what we do.
  9. Where a new service grows in complexity, to strive to work in partnership with other organisations better suited to cope with such complexities.
